No Starch Press Teams Up with Humble Bundle to Present the Humble Book Bundle: Learn You Some Code

Pay What You Want for a Selection of
Unique Programming Books

San Francisco, CA (September 24, 2018)—Since 2015, No Starch Press, one of the few remaining independent tech publishing companies, has been teaming up with Humble Bundle to provide ebook bundles to its fans in support of charity. This time around, the collaboration will cater to the publishing company's programming fans with Humble Bundle: Learn You Some Code. To date, this partnership has been a huge success, bringing in millions of dollars in revenue and helping to raise over $1.2 million for charitable causes.

The latest ebook bundle—valued at more than $450—includes best-sellers such as Automate the Boring Stuff with Python, Python Crash Course, and The Linux Command Line, as well as cult classics like Learn You a Haskell for Great Good!Clojure for the Brave and True, and Land of Lisp.

With Humble Bundle's pay-what-you-want model, readers pay whatever price they think is fair for each bundle, making it a must-have for any programmer. "Coding can and should be fun," says Bill Pollock, founder of No Starch Press, "and at No Starch Press we always aim to make it so."

Readers can pay any amount to receive:

Readers who pay more than the average also get:

And readers who pay more than $15 will get all of the above, plus:

The Learn You Some Code bundle benefits Code.org, an organization dedicated to expanding access to computer science. Through outreach, training programs, workshops, partnerships, curricula and more, they work to bring computer science to a wider array of students, especially women and underrepresented minorities. This is the first time that No Starch Press has partnered with Code.org for a Bundle and the company is excited to help support this inspiring organization.

Like all Humble Bundle promotions, customers choose how much of their money goes to the publisher, Humble Bundle, and the benefiting nonprofit.

Humble Bundle: Learn You Some Code runs for two weeks and ends on October 8.
