Sure. They're just cover images. As long as your use is as you describe it, no problem.

Greetings.

I'm using a Windows 7 laptop. I tried booting from the LiveCD, but it told me that the X server failed to start - probably a hardware issue. I then followed the advice above about using the CD in VMware Player. I made the .vmx file above and tried to use it. However, the following error appeared:

Error while opening the virtual machine: File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Security\livecd.vmx" line 3: Value "\x938\x94" for variable "config.version" is not valid in encoding "UTF-8".

Please assist.

Thank you.

Be careful with accepting other peoples meeting invites. Unless it's fixed since the last time I dared to use it, it adds the meeting to the google calendar and then re-invites everyone again. A bit embarassing

Bill,
I too am a follower of No Starch. I have here a copy of the text with regards to the current theme of this blog,http://nostarch.com/blog/2009/11/hacking-the-cable-modem-author-indicted/ .

It also happens that I respect the efforts of both of you for this particular text. I strongly suspect that all of this has happened, because the companies are deeply worried. So? They should be, their service when it works is good, but typically it does not want to. This text shows how to make the hardware work for you.

And therefore those charges are strongly bogus.

After giving the focus to the search bar(ctrl k), you can change the search engines with ctrl up / ctrl down instead of alt up / alt down, I prefer this way because FF doesn't show me the engines, just toggle them. If you have only a few searches (I have only 2) this is better IMO.

I found the site when I was searching if there's any difference between ctrl e and ctrl k. It seems that there is none.

Firefox FTW!
